This shows the exterior of the hatch.  The red object at center right is a cover over the EVA handle.  The image clearly shows the mylar tape pattern, and the location of the decals and the purge and vent ports.  Compare to diagrams below.

Top:  Interior aspect of the Apollo 7 CM hatch.  This had a fairly simple design.  As with most other Apollo hardware, the design was improved upon as the program evolved.
The image on the right shows a white bracket drawn around a part that connects to the hatch tract and where it goes on the CM hatch frame.

Exterior of the Apollo 7 hatch.  Note the EVA handle at top right, which is very different from the kit part.  Also, note the colors of the small half dome object to the lower left of the window, which is the purge port.
